Rathmines Library closed early last December to allow much needed improvement works to commence. The works are divided into two phases internal and external, are expected to take in the region of approx 11 months to complete.

To accommodate library users during this time, Dublin City Council have set up a temporary library facility at Parker Hill in Rathmines.

The facility will be open to the public from Monday 25th January 2010. The opening hours will be Monday to Saturday, 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.
